I am too about to place an order on a GT350 but first let me get this straight. Can I only order the Track package or Tech package but not both?
Not both. (I guess I should say, unless you get an R with the Electronics package...)

Both have the good shocks but the track pack has the stuff to keep the car cool at the track and the tech pack has the stuff to keep the driver cool (seats that is) around town.

It would be nice to mix and match. I like the Recaros and the raised deck lip and I also like the SYNC and audio system but hate the leather seats since they get too hot here in Texas.

If the Sync 3 is really that great, I might try to get a salvage one out of a normal Mustang.

You can always buy the track package spoiler...

The leather seats are cooled, but yeah, I live in Dallas as well. Thank goodness I have covered parking at work, but this won't be my daily driver.

Does the base model get the two center stack gauges? I would think "no", but that's just a guess.

You'd probably have to splice or get a new harness as well. I think that's why you never see anybody going from Sync to MyFord Touch.

Is the Sync system in the base GT350 (and the GT350 with Track pkg) the same as the MyFord Touch? Or is the standard Sync an improved/better version?

From what it sounds like, it's the same minimal Sync system with the tiny display that's been in earlier cars without MFT. Sync 3 just replaces MFT.

Maybe when they both weren't offered, but i doubt there is a different harness for a 2016 mustang depending on which radio they have. No hurry since I may not have a car for 6 months...

So the track pack gets the cooling but the tech pack gets to see this everyday

once again though, the main reason to not go with the base is the magneride

Has this been confirmed? I haven't seen a gt350 without the gauges. The base gt350 images of the white with blue stripes flooded all over the Internet still has the center gauges.

I was just repeating what others have said but now looking at the order guide and the website. It does say "Gray accent gauge cluster and register vents" standard. So, if those two little gauges are that.. then yes?

It's worth noting the R says "Auxiliary Gauges" deleted on the base and then re-added with the Electronics package. But the non-R says nothing about "Auxiliary Gauges".

Nothing really seems clear, that's for sure.
