Track insurance

My normal cost is 250 a day for the track 400 insurance and maybe 3 tanks of gas. So 750 Just to get there drive and go home. If my SO comes you can take another 100 on for food. Id probably say another 200 in consumables conservatively. so 950 a day? I original though to do weekends but I think now ill try to do one day events with more time.

That's and important point, I try to do events with low car counts and more time. Even if they are a little more it is much more fun.

There are a few organizations in my area that jam pack each class.

Yeah I see no reason to do 4 20 minutes a day for 2 days. If I can do 7 or 8 in one day. By the end of the second day I am usually fried anyway.

Generally, I think I do better letting what I learn seep in over night,
I.e. the first session on the following day is way better than the last session on the first day.

My best time are usually the second session of the second day. I would agree

I just signed up with RLI - the rate was significantly better than lockton surprisingly.

With my other two track cars including my 15 Ecoboost with every upgrade imaginable I didn't buy insurance. I didnt really care about the car as much.

With the GT350 I've been using RLICORP and they have been very easy to work with.

I won't race without their policy.

My biggest concern is getting rear ended or hitting someone who spins on the track.

I like knowing that I'm covered and is worth every penny to me. The time I don't get it will be the time a S2K loses his brakes and takes me out lol

So you're getting coverage for "racing?" I called all of the companies listed in this thread and none would cover any sort of timed track event; only HPDEs. Was looking at it for a roll racing event and none would cover it.
