Sadly, I am only 19. I have to pay $1,847.31 per 6 months at State Farm for my GT350. The cheapest I could find.... Not too bad...

Liberty mutual $780/year. This is a third car and have them categorizing it as for pleasure driving.

I just recently got a Grundy Automotive policy. Actually, received the policy today. Did the paperwork and all that jazz over the last week.
I have a 2013 Roush Stage 3, valued it at 47k on the Grundy insurance, and I pay $435 for the year. Unlimited mileage. Car cannot be used to go to work or be parked at the supermarket and such. Basically, they want you to have a daily driver. Fine by me, I never leave the car unattended and I have a 2016 Ram Sport 4X4, regular cab. Car shows and car meets are fine under the policy. Works great for me as I only drive the car only when it is nice and sunny out.
I was with Liberty Mutual and it was almost $1,300 for the year, full coverage. I could have take some stuff as I own the car, but opted not to. I still have my truck insured with LM. The truck still costs less than the Mustang. LOL I gave LM a chance to lower their payments and was told that someone would get back to me the next day. Never happened and I never pursued it. If they don't want my money, that's fine. I'm saving about 800 bucks a year.

I got a policy with Grundy. It's a collectors policy, garage kept not a daily driver. Agreed value of 60k that will not go down unless I request it to. They will increase value at renewal (automatically) if the car has gone up in value. $801 a year. They don't do installments, must be paid in full at inception and at renewal. I'm in my mid 40's and don't have any other vehicles insured with them. Best price I received from anyone. Tried Hagarety but they didn't consider it a collector. They will insure a 15 though and told me $400 a year if I had a 15.
I did the same exact thing!
Just received my policy today. Cannot beat the prices. I tried Hagerty and Heacock as well, but the car wasn't considered a collectible.
(I don't have a GT350, but a 2013 Roush Stage 3 and got unlimited mileage, I put my value at 47k. I may bump it next year if they let me. It depends on the underwriters I was told.)

This is the part that is iffy to me. I have a 3 other cars, so the GT350 would be 99% weekend car. But I cant take it to work once a month or run to the store on the weekend with it? How about take the wife out to dinner or a weekend trip to the coast?

Allstate - for the GT350 - $808/year allowing 3,000 miles. My policy has the highest coverage limits, plus I have 3 other cars - 2005 Scion Xb, 2011 Genesis Coupe, and a 1998 Dodge Dakota. I pay nearly the same amount for the Scion as I do the GT350 - no tickets. But this is California.

I'm not sure to be honest. I still take mine to the bank every once in a great while on Saturday mornings and parks well away from anyone else. No one parks there at that spot.
You're bet bet is to call them. I can give you two names if you are interested and can ask for either one.

You don’t want to know
$19/ month from Nationwide as a 5,000-mile-per-year, occasional-use vehicle added on to the regular family cars and homeowners coverage. When I was shopping around, I didn't find a single big-name insurance company that was anywhere near as high as the specialty insurers like Grundy and Hagerty, but I did find a few that weren't interested in covering a "limited production performance" car because of, they said, potentially higher parts and liability costs.

About $65 a month with 21st century. Full coverage with $500/deductible. Married, 30, nothing on my record now but my wife has a few tickets.

Everyone thanks so much for the info. Very useful. I'm an idiot. The quote I got was a bit hard to read and the figure they gave me was for ALL 5 cars that I have insured with them right now including the 15 GT which I'm selling in case anyone is interested. Sooooo thats a big relief but I'm in the same general area as everyone else. Thanks again for all your replies. Love the forum.

AAA quoted me at $1273 annually. I have both home and car insurance through them. This is for full coverage and for use as a daily driver, 8000 miles per year. The Shelby will be my only car.
