LOL. Where did you get this from? It sounds like a joke. I do this then comeback and post it did not work. Joke is on me.
its actually correct, I trained my 2011 Mustang this way, was slightly different, buying these little hand held things is totally unnecessary, as I posted earlier, if they are true Ford OE sensors, you shouldnt have to do any of these steps........

I love these complicated procedures. They go out of their way to make it so difficult so you break out your wallet at the dealership.

My 2011 Silverado was just as dumb, fill to psi then deflate until it reads then reflate, such a hassle.

After doing more research I found out that you are not joking. I was waiting for you to tell me to do some back flips after pushing hazard button 6 times then run around my car screaming death to camaros. LOL  Thank you.

They charged me $140 I think. Hopefully they can get some that will sync to ECU. I am not sweating this but want them to stop setting off dash board alerts.
TPMS valves have nothing to do with the PCM but rather the BCM.

I have not tried anything yet. A local shop is going to try and sync them for me. If that does not work then I will be trying this.

I called and ordered wheels and tires along with the sensors and was told that you guys will program them and all I have to do is hit the reset button like after doing an oil change. Is this not correct??

Correct the retraining is a simple process when using the tool, I have the link to the video I just need to figure how the hell I can post it here, maybe make a dedicated thread for that.

What tool? I was told Need4Speed would do the retraining all I do is mount them and reset it.

Yeah a bunch of us don't seem to need any retraining. Mine just bolted on and started working after a few miles.

My new wheels had OEM Ford transmitters, and I had a lot of trouble getting them to auto-sync. Driving around this little town all week with no update. Then after 5 miles on the highway at 70mph they suddenly started working. Then they acted a little weird after that.

But I took my car for a different service that same week, and the dealer used the tool to train them quickly, and at no charge.

Dr, just swing by the dealer with a box of donuts or something. :D
