Hey all!

Rather than jack the rig up and swap the wheels, I’m hoping for a reset option.

Weather getting cooler and used the TPMS to bring the pressures up a couple PSI. When I filled the front left….yup…..registered on the front right. Rears are fine.

Brand new damn car, 800 miles.

Any way to reset this other than a wheel swap?

Thanks in advance!!🍻

Drive it around the block a few times.
If you have to resort to more, your car is buggered. Have the dealer fix that.

As to the various black magic incantations and witch doctor dances, use the search function. Been answered over and over. And in your user manual for good measure

If there is a Discount Tire store location near you, store personnel can inspect and reset your TPMS system in no time! Free of charge btw!

What if I previously bought the correct sensors, but when I re-ordered I got the right mhz but they are different and don't work - is Discount Tire able to help program that or do I just need to get the right TPMS?

@geep81 I would recommend starting small and work your way up the "food chain". I would start with a simple relearn and program. That will most likely set things right. Also, in the process of a relearn, issues with sensors will be flagged. Then you can move to the next level if needed.

My gut says a simple relearn will solve your problem.

Thank you for the advice!

Ordered from? If you said eBay, American muscle, or cjpony, wrong answer. Tpms.com is what you meant to say.

eBay sellers sell broken and foreign market only sensors to US addresses.

From tire rack. They are the 315mhz ones. But in my re order ignorance I didn’t realize there were multiple models of this frequency. My old ones that worked with no issues are black stems, these are silver stems, for whatever reason they didnt auto calibrate like the last set.

Then it would be nice if discount tire would refund/replace. Though it's possible they can force reprogram the devices to speak Ford.

If it is truly a sensor issue, Tire Rack will refund or replace on the sensors. No worries!:like:

Sorry to hear you are still having issues with the sensors. I'd like to dig into this issue a little deeper. Sending a DM your way.
