A friend told me while I’m doing my radiator swap would be a perfect time to install a tow hook as there’s plenty of room and just as easy to go this route. I’ve had the front skin off before and don’t mind the job, but if it’s just as possible with the radiator, why not now?!?!

Anyone gone this route? Still trying to decide between the Ford or the ZL1 route also.

I guess you prob could. I imagine it would be still be more of a pita than just pulling the front. Some guys install the the zl1 with the radiator in, and bumper cover on as well though.

For me I'd pull the front everytime if I had to do it again.

I'd try reaching down in behind the crash bar and see how easy it is to access those bolts. If you can reach no prob shouldn't be bad. I just prefer sitting on stool and having everything right in front of me

Thank you….and my apologies if I misunderstood, but your post certainly reads like (and to clarify for others) you misunderstood the point that my radiator will be out anyways. I’m not taking the radiator out for a tow hook job.
