Hard to tell if the rear 1/4 on either side is tweaked.

Definitely close to $8k easily.

Glad to hear that the OP is OK and car is being repaired.

We still haven't had an explanation of those slippers though.

I have heard as low as 60% of ACV to total.

We all appreciate everyone's suggestions and advice, but always remember: every state has different laws when it comes to insurance, rules and regulations. Read anything you find on an Internet forum with a grain of salt, especially if the salt is in a different state than yours.

The passenger side quarter panel has damage. it's a one piece stamping. It's hard to determine how much damage is present due to the reflection. "IF" the entire panel has to be replaced it will be expensive. See it there are any bends or kinks by the "B" pillar locations.
My thinking, from what I can see, the car can be saved and will not be totaled

Currently 17k in damages reported from shop, possibly more, at this point would be quicker to have it totaled and get a new one with supply chain issues

2 months and finally got Mach back!

funny it was the day after my wife and I attended the Track Attach, which was a blast

to close the loop

total damages 20,019.00

that is not including my replacement ceramic coating which will be done in about 90 days

so add another 1500ish to the total

Howdy! New to the forum! Just curious to all those who have been rear ended. Is it best to use your own insurance or deal with the at fault driver's insurance? Got a real low ball estimate from at fault driver's insurance ( talking lizard) just based off pictures sent to them, not viewing in person.

Does this look like only 4k in damage?
