2018 EB premium with pp1 46k miles 1 accident previously in pretty much the same spot as this one. Had to get hood, bumper, headlight, and driver side wheel panel replaced. That was $10.5k in repairs for parts and service. Fortunately, this accident wasn’t my fault so my insurance won’t be taking the hit here. Other guys car didn’t even have a scratch. For this one, to me, it seems like every panel in the front of the car is boned, and the driver door is jammed shut so that’s a nice cherry on top.

I'll start it off for you.
My feeling is that as long as there is no frame damage and no airbag deployment the car will not be totaled.
Of course cars have been totaled for stuff like poor parts availability but that shouldn't affect your repair.

To total it, in most States the threshold is 72%-75% of actual cash value. Once it meets or exceeds that threshold it is “totaled”.

It doesn’t really matter if it had prior accident damage, that isn’t factored into the “now” damages to repair it back to pre-crash condition.
