Yes. But you usually skip it and go right to 37th.

Ummm,for 3rd yeah. 4th is good past 140 but then again at those speeds you're not really looking down at the speedo

Super old post but I figured I’d post this for posterity…. We did the math in another thread a few years back. Using stock tire size and gearing of the 350 and 350R, we arrive at:

For the GT350:
1'st gear = 55mph
2'nd gear = 80mph
3'rd gear = 111mph
4'th gear = 144mph
5'th gear = 178mph
6'th gear = 283mph (theoretically)
reverse = 60mph

For my GT350R brethren:
1'st gear = 54mph
2'nd gear = 78mph
3'rd gear = 108mph
4'th gear = 141mph
5'th gear = 174mph
6'th gear = 277mph (theoretically)
reverse = 59mph

Not theoretical at all…. Apparently you’ve never left the house, gotten 4 houses down then the wife calls to tell you she’d like to see you in the bedroom ASAP! In moments like that, speed matters!!
