Still undecided as to whether or not i should be getting the tech pack. That would bump up my bill by $9400 cdn.
This car will be my w-e toy and driven only when nice out and during summer months only ( 6 ).
I usually put on about 1-2K miles each summer as i'm pretty busy doing other things.
Can magnaride, nav, center gauges, power lumbar seats, 12 speakers, turn signal mirrors justify spending the xtra $9400 !
Any informative comments are welcome.

I am choosing to go with the tech pakage. Depending on what your fianancial situtuation is I would encourage you to do likewise. But, $9,400 is a serious chunk of change. Without the magnetic suspension set up, I might just get a GT throw a whipple on it, bolt on some steeda suspension parts and call it a day.

Good luck making a choice that works for you.

I would buy it but I like my cars with all available options as they are not dedicated track cars. I like to have all the amenities when out cruising as a cruise could be 30 minutes or 700 miles :D

Also wondering if having tech pack will help with resale value in the future !

Todd, your GT is exactly how i would've ordered mine. Same color everything.
I'm pissed that Ingot silver is not available with the Shelby.

I think with specialty cars like this it won't make a lot of difference........Maybe the base car a little less. IMHO would!nt let it be a factor on resale.

I would vote for the Tech package. I would like to order one next year and i don't forsee using it for track days, just a nice GT car with an awesome motor and chassis with all the amenities. Plus it looks like ill come out at just under $60k.

Usually options lose their value on resale, so I don't think resale value will be improved a lot by having more options.

If you are not going to be driving the car much, I would recommend you pass on the extra options. I'm still trying to decide whether I'm going to buy a car with the Magneride, but if I buy a GT350 I'm going to be daily driving, so I think having some ride adjustment will be more important for me.

The Tech Package will be worth it for resale...but is it worth it to you?

When I was considering purchasing this car, I went back and forth between the Track and Tech Packages...in the end, it was either Tech or nothing. Personally, I would drive the tires off the car and would want to be comfortable while doing so.

However, if it was going to be a dedicated track toy, I would probably just get the base and save the money for tires, tires...and...maybe more tires? Probably some gas, too. :)

Hell yes...when someone buys a 60K car they WILL want Nav, leather, etc.. Its worth it...do it !!
Not everyone. When I bought my '14 GT, I bought it with Nav with intentions of buying the Recaros out of the Ford Racing catalog in cloth, then recovering the rear seats to match. Partly because I wanted the Nav but I hate leather seats.

Now that my order for a GT350 is in, I skipped the Nav. Because 1) I've never used it in my current car, not even the dual zone climate and 2) My focus for a car has changed. For that, I need the Track Pack. And I do plan on driving the car. Hard.

I wanted the opts. from the Track pack with Nav, I personally did not care for the leather, but to get the nav. I had too. I will use the Nav, and plus it just looks better at night with the Map going.
