So I’ve done some research through the forums here but can’t seem to find what I am looking for. I’m attempting to purchase a new set of wheels, specifically the SVE R350 10/11 19” combo. I want to go with the Continental Extreme Contacts staggered 295/305. The issue that I(like many others) am running into is the lack of a 305/35/19 size. I can find the 295/35/19 but not the 305. I can find both the 295/305 in a 30 aspect ratio. According to several tire calculator sites, there is an inch difference in overall diameter which causes speedometer accuracy issues as well as other minimal issues. Question is, has anyone gone with that size and were there any issues? Also, will the smaller sidewall give the tire/fender gap a weird look? The car is lowered now and looks great but I’m afraid the gap is going to increase and look bad.

You could just use the R spec tire setup. 305’s front, and 325’s rear(oem is 315). The R setup looks better to in my opinion. Looks even better lowered and handles very well. Ideally you want a 10.5 front but the 10 would work fine. This is conti’s on r spec and down an inch.

These are 30’s on 19” rims? Any rubbing?

OP - you are running into the very common issue of lack of good choices in 19" tires. If you look at 20" options, there are a ton of really good tires made in 295/30 and 305/30, which have the same overall diameter as your OE tires so you wouldn't need to adjust your speedo.

I am running OE GT500-spec PS4S 305/30/20 fronts and 315/30/20 rears on my car and they work great other than a tiny bit of rub on a plastic inner fender liner when the steering wheel is at full lock. I have heard that running the 295/30/20 front would eliminate this issue.

FWIW, I’ve messaged Conti several times regarding the general lack of 305/35r19 tires in the market (my comment to them was made directly at the ECS02). I’ve gotten pretty positive responses from them and the latest response is stay tuned for this spring and summer as they’ll be rolling out more sizes in the ECS02 and possibly the Extreme Contact Force, which is their Cup2 competitor. They never said anything about the 305/35 size specifically with the ECS02 but I have a hunch it’s coming (and nothing more than a bunch, zero inside info).
