I like the look of the stock Michelin PSS's on my GT350. Gap between the tire and fender looks good to me. However, I would like to test a set of Cup 2's for my next set of tires and wondered if I can run the 350R sizes and have it still look OK. More specifically, I know the tires fit well on the standard wheel but as they are 30 aspect ratio vs 35's, and even though they are slightly wider, is there going to be more gap between the fenders and tire running the Cups? Anyone running Cup 2's on standard GT350 wheels? Any pics would be very appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

I run PSC2's in R sizes on stock GT350 rims. The fender gap is the same as on the R itself because the suspension static height (measured from the wheel hub to the fender arch) is the same for both cars - the R only sits lower because of the smaller diameter tires.

I run Cup2's on my 350, 305/325's on stock rims. No problem even at the track. Speedo is 1 mph low at 60 mph though. No big deal because no one around here drives that speed.

Just an FYI - not recommended to run a wider tire than the rim in a performance setting. It'll give the rim less control of the rubber patch (since the rubber patch is wider than the rim).

Based on a conversation I had with Dan from Ford Racing school, recommended Michelin Cup 2 size for an 19x11.5 rim is 305-315. 19x11 would be 295-305. Better to go down than a size than up. Dan said these recommendations came directly from Michelin.

I have no doubt that this is excellent advice. However, I don't have a set of 11/11.5 rims, so I'm using what I have. The key point for me is that a set of 305/315 PSC2's work better than the 295/305 MPSS's. That I'm not getting everything that the PSC2's can give is unfortunate, but I'm focused on the benefit I'm getting, not on what I'm missing.

No doubt. I'd consider putting 305's all around. Good sizing for the OEM 350 wheels and you won't be stressing the sidewall of the tires as much.
