Just thinking ahead... Does anyone have any suggested tire alternatives for the HP setup? I will be driving the car (for the most part) as a daily driver so the idea of buying 2 sets of PS2's a year is a bit daunting!

I picked up a set of Yokohama Advan Sport V105s used when I got my wheels from a fella. They ended up being such phenomenal tires that I'm going to re-buy them here soon. Great grip, awesome sound deadening and road noise reduction, and great look too. At $300+ a tire though, they're not cheap. Treadwear is 200 if you're curious.

When my Mach 1 drops at the dealer I am having the "Summer Tires" taken off and replaced with some more user friendly tires. So all suggestions are welcome, in the winter it is in cold 🥶 storage so the tires will have be good at all temps.

Pretty much the same options as every other Mustang.

In Canada, I assume you will want all seasons or a set of summer and winter wheels and tires (I would go smaller with the winter set) .

I can't comment on all season or winter tires.
I like Indy 500's as value priced summer tires, Michelin P4S are good but pricey.
But the prices seem to be in more flux than usual, so the best value can easily change depending on when you are buying.

No way they're quieter than PA4Ss, no? Those are reportedly the quietest summer tires available. AT least when I checked, a few months ago. They're already borderline acceptable on the crappy highways here in the desert southwest, so anything louder would be deafening. If there's a quieter tire than the PS4Ss, please post it :). I'm thinking of switching to the new A/S4s if Michelin makes it in the Bullitt sizes when my PS4Ss are done, but they're not available in those sizes yet. And I could use those in the mild winters here, rather than having to keep the car mostly garaged. And no, I don't have space for an extra set of wheels/tires for winter.

After combing the internet I have concluded that PS4S are not available in 315/30ZR19’s... the 305’s are available but not the rears for the HP Mach 1...

Anyone have an idea what the cup 2’s would be worth as take offs with let’s say 50 miles on them? I’m thinking about pulling them off right away and selling them if I can find someone interested.

They have 325/30 which should work. That’s what I’m going to go with.

I just noticed the other day Michelin lists the PS4S on their website in a 315/30r19. They must be new, because I have checked pretty regularly. (Thinking about going 315/30r19 square on my PP2.) I have searched the web and can’t find them for sale anywhere, must be new. Hopefully they will be available soon.

I got $1100 for mine when I removed them from my 19 PP2 with about 400 miles on them.

just post them here in the classified and any serious track lapper will snap them up.

hey sir, most of the sales I’ve seen are 1000-1200. I’m always on the hunt.

10 stores lists them here online so they do exist, but are not available in stock yet. As said, might be brand new size that was just added.
