Handling package tires,

Just ordered these through my local ford dealership, I understand they are track inspired tires but do they look a little low on tread or is it just my eyes,

Mich Cup 2's. Mine were the same.

Lots of rubber contact area. Not so much tread compared to "normal" street tires.

That’s what I’m thinking aswell but looking close you still see the nipples on the sidewall which indicates new?

Not necessarily, the tires on my truck have 8K mi and still have the little nubs on the sidewall. The top 2 tires looks like used. The sipes are more prominent on the bottom tires compared to the 2 top ones

Top two 100% were driven on. Minor wear but if represented and charged as new I’d be 100% pissed.

Low mile take-offs and there’s still a lot of tire there

The Ford dealer told me they shave the Cup 2 tires. I also thought mine were used and when I went to another dealer and checked their brand new Mach1 on display it was the same.

Front 5.5/32
Rear 6/32

The top 2 look to be brand new 305's IMO. They look identical to whats on the PP2. I'm not an authority, but the bottom 2 look closer to a Super Sport, not the stock Cup2 315's on the Mach.

They are not shaved ... those are factory molded to 5.5/32nds (305).

Tires look new to me, not much tread on the outside of those Cup 2's. When I brought my PP2 home and my wife came out to look at it, first sentence out of her mouth was how does a brand new car already need new tires? lol
