So just to review, do you need to remove the subwoofer enclosure from the car to do the Pioneer/new driver install? Or is it possible to replace the driver without removing the enclosure?
Probably a basic question that has been covered before, but this thread has grown to 350+, and I couldn't...
Following up, I did check with Ford, here is their response:
"That kit is currently only available for the 2018-2020 Mustang GT at this time, however there is a 2021 option currently undergoing certifications. I do not have an ETA at this time, however it should be available in the near future."
Hi,
Sorry if this has been covered in other threads before, but I can't find it.
Does the M-9603-M8B Calibration/Intake/Throttle Body package, specified for 18-20, also work on a 2021 with Performance Package?
Thanks.
You can't rely on what Ford says about dates, either expecting a car sooner, or later. For a couple weeks my delivery estimate was 4/4, then suddenly the delivery estimates changed to 4/16...
The car was delivered on 3/30.
I ordered mine on 2/22, delivered to the dealer 3/30, in my garage 3/31.
I know that's crazy quick. The last one I ordered, a 2016, took over six months from order to delivery.
I'm actually just kind of dumbfounded.
I keep on checking the window sticker and various indicators (wheels...
So earlier this week, I got an email from
Ford that my car was to be built the week of 5/31. Then today, I was informed of an “adjustment” and the new build is scheduled for 3/29!
I ride around with two dogs in the back all the time, top up or down. Both are ~75 pounds (one is a black lab), and they do fine. They both know their spots, they just curl up or enjoy the view. The lab especially likes looking out the front from between the seats.
I have them secured with...
My 2016 loaded 6M PP Convertible was $49k list, which would be about $53k today.
I just ordered a loaded 2021 6M PP Convertible, came out to ~$59k list. But adds MagneRide, active exhaust, rev matching, digital dash, ACC, etc.
Those extras are worth, say, $4k more over my old car? So $57k vs...
NOOOO!!!!! Are you sure?
The Pirelli's might be ok after they warm up, but suck in street driving. Michelins are so much better.
Though I've found the sweet spot for performance/price/durability to be the Conti ExtremeContact DW.
So this just seems to be a discussion about something that one person found legitimately convenient, but a feature that others might not care to have.
OP found a keypad useful, for his needs. Others did not find it useful, and further thought that it diminished the look of the car.
Fair...
I typically drive around San Francisco, with its horrendous traffic. (Well, it used to be bad, never thought I would miss it!)
My range is typically around 185 miles. 11.2 mpg. Prius owners judge me. :like:
I'm excited to see the new colors in person, a couple of them look very promising. I wasn't too keen on the 2020 colors, if only because I've had a few of them in the past and want to change things up.
Particularly interested in the Antimatter Blue, Fighter Jet Gray, and Lucid Red.
I just...
Exactly, and that's why they bundled nav with 401A. ~$795 for nav became irrelevant. Add it to a package with stuff you very well might want, and they can charge you for it and it's "included." You want the digital dash? Heated steering wheel? Premier trim? (which really is nicer)...
