It's Ford certified and the reason for the price drops is due to the used car market crashing. Flood car or accident would show up on carfax since it's such a new at a high cost.

Problem with this, is they dragged it up to N.H. from Florida.
Then lowered the price 19 times.
I Could be very wrong, but I smell flood car and back dated paperwork. The owner didn't drive it up to N.H. As a snowbird might and then trade it in. The cars mileage is to low for that to be the case.
The shipping it all the way up the coast makes no sense.
Could have been the original owner. Shipped the car from FL to NH and then was forced to sell it for some reason. No Ford dealer is going to certify a flood car so highly unlikely this is one.

I agree the pricing is weird but who knows, that’s a dealer for you!

No ford dealer is going to buy a used unit for more than they could order a new one from ford for either. just seems "off"

We have no idea what the dealer paid for the car or the circumstances of the sale. A discussion with the dealer could clear all of this up. If OP is satisfied with the answers and can actually get the car for the CarFax price it’s an excellent deal.

VIN check from Florida DMV. What’s a stop for an insurance related suspension?

Perhaps the previous owner didn't have insurance on the vehicle or let it lapse and the car was deemed not road worthy in case of an accident

U must have insurance on a vehicle to drive it i believe in all 50 states?

Looks like a great deal to me

the 19 price changes are clearly crass attempts to pad the price (hugely) on holiday weekends. Then come mon/tues they back it out. Very common tactic to rope-a-dope people who aren't paying any attention and tracking historical ask price.

57.600 new, should be well below 49K. At 46K it's a decent buy since that's 20% off MSRP. Well assuming you buy into the original MSRP which is grossly inflated by at least 3000 just from the get go. But at least it dodged the later 2022 base-car hikes since it was early 2022 production.

The dealer probably paid an obscene amount of money on it, expecting a quick flip and now they're facing 5 months of almost zero chance to move it. So now it's going to cost them 5 more months of floorplan interest. And the values are crashing at 7-10% per MONTH. If they have any brains they need to get rid of it as fast as possible. Probably in the next 3 weeks.

it’s priced about high book. There’s nothing wrong with that. Go there test drive it make sure everything feels alright and then haggle another 2K off and you’ll be at low book. If you have good credit and your own financing you’re in the drivers seat.

I got my 18 GT Premium for 28K it took two days to get there from the original price and I had my own financing. If a car is priced right there’s nothing to worry about unless there are glaring issues. Yes the New GTs are coming out but do you want to spend another 12Kif you don’t have to? It has just over 1K miles.

Plus the fact that the used car market is about to collapse I say the car is priced right.

Car seems appropriately price in my opinion. Values are dropping faster than a "whore's drawers" as they say.

That being said, the price we are seeing in the listing is just the listed price... my bet is that once they get you in the door to look at the car they will tell you that the listed price is just for the car and DOES NOT include any of their BS fees like their detailing fee, reconditioning fee, underbody protection fee, car-being-available-in-this-market fee, doc fee, sign-your-life-away fee... next thing you know you are looking at $60K+ out the door. They do this all the time just to get people to notice their car for sale and get bodies into the door. Its misleading practices and on the verge of predatory.

UGH. I'm sure you guys can tell that I am sick and tired of these slimy dealers and their over charging tactics. I know the games they play.

You have to be smart when going in. If you have good credit make sure you have financing lined up. That’s first. Then research and if you have someone who can give you book pricing be prepared with that. All the BS fees are just that BS. That under carriage protector I’ll keep my moth shut on that . 😂

understand this, dealerships will add between 7-12K to then price of an used vehicle. By 90 days of ownership by dealerships they start loosing money and by 180 days they are looking to get rid of that car cheap or send it to auction.

In todays market they will lose money either way. More so if they send it back to auction. My advice to ANYONE. Be prepared to haggle. Be prepared to walk away. Be prepared to say yes to a good deal asap.

When I walked away from my deal the dealership called me early the next day asking me what they could have done better. I stuck to the price I wanted and when they said they would do it at said price I told them I’d be there in an hour.

Again have your ducks in a row have financing available because when they say yes to your deal you need to be able to shake that hand.

Best Ford is not going to budge by much at all on their price. Window sticker is $57,575 new. They are listing the MSRP as $63,874, for an initial ADM of almost $6300 for a used car. They do this with pretty much all their used vehicles.

I drive by them most every day on my commute and they always have a Mustang or two parked by the showroom windows to get peoples attention.

So we’re guessing the CarFax price is not real? :giggle:

it's probably just delayed. 11/16 was 46k. The dealer has been adding 2, 4, 6 grand on friday for the weekend shopping crowd. That said, the insane current ask is probably an error (doubled the weekend hike) or they really are looking for the next fool to marvel at the 10 grand off and bite on it.

If you want a new 22 blue GT Premium car for 8% (or better) off MSRP, you can find it at the place that starts with Our. They've got 90 mustangs and they want them sold sooner rather than later. The selling season for 'stangs is basically over and they are looking at inbound MY23 cars only a few weeks out which will crush their ability to command any price premium on left-overs.
