When i was under the car doing the exhaust i saw a loose bolt on the circled part. Not the larger blue nut but the smaller two grey ones. I tightened it up but now im curious, What is that part? an extra brace?

Pretty sure when I installed my Steeda IRS rear subframe braces I bolted part of it to all 3 of those bolts.

I figured it was some kind of brace or support, next time it’s at the dealer I’ll have them do a once over on it

Was under there this last weekend installing my exhaust. Both sides of mine were backed out a good 1/4”. So I took out all 4 bolts and applied thread locker. Seems like this should be a thing people should take the few seconds to check. Car is a 19 PP1.

You're saying that from the factory (you never touched any of those bolts), they were loose?

Does the car drive any different after tightening them?

I bought the car used, only 3800 miles were on the clock. I can only assume they worked their way loose over that period of time as I doubt the previous owner would have had a reason to loosen them. And in case anyone wonders, clean carfax and zero signs that anything was ever damaged or repaired under the radar. Can’t say I noticed anything different, just some piece of mind knowing everything is tight and not going to randomly fall off/create a problem is nice though.
