Not trying to pile on but....

You already have an excellent CAI. Just needs a K&N drop in filter.

Look into the Steeda top cover intake for your Mustang. It provides real CAI HP with a tune. And you won't have to cut your engine cover.

If you are not going with a tune, don't bother with either.

It makes sense, I been getting recommended to keep my stock CAI and put a drop in filter…
Which isn’t bad of an idea
but of course At this point i don’t know what to do at this point

$420 for a CAI is highway robbery, especially one that gains you at most a handful of hp if that.
Lol yeaaaa…. I wanted a CAI That has gains… but of course now your giving me second thoughts on it lol

Second thoughts save money and make horsepower.

If you really want a change. It still requires a tune.. But down the line you may want headers etc... That will require another tune. On and On.

My advice is save your money, get to know the ropes. Then make a game plan that doesn't have you buying stuff that you end up taking off because of new upgrades.

This is a good start and it has a 3/36k warranty from New.

Update ** I got a drop in filter due to excessive amount of suggestions to keep my stock box and place a drop in filter.. excuse the dusty bay..

So, will the K&N filter by itself help any?

And does it alone require a tune?

IMO, the ROUSH CAI is a good concept for a sealed CAI, but it's . . . just . . . so . . . damn . . . BIG....

It takes up way too much real estate under the hood and just looks out of place. It makes the factory overflow bottle look like a piece of art in comparison... :cwl:
