Think it’s totaled?

New quarters, taillight, decklid, exhaust if cant be bent back in, whole sub floor replacement, bumper bar, wiring, rear camera, paint.....and thats not including frame, axles or suspension components. You WANT this to be totaled. This is not something you want to drive around and have issues with or have to re-sell on your own. Sorry man. My C/S GT got in half as a bad of a rear end like this and it was $15k after parts and labor.

My question is kind of off-topic, but I'd appreciate if you help out a fellow GT/CS mate.
I noticed you have the red calipers on the rear along with the CS rims. Are those Brembos? Are you having the 6 piston brembos at the front, having enough clearance with the CS rims?

I am desparately googling to find out whether the GT/CS wheels will have enough clearance for a Brembo upgrade on my 2021 GT/CS. I noticed they do offer the performance package which comes with Brembos on the 2022 GT/CS now, but they will provide you with PP rims instead of the GT/CS ones, which made me wonder.

No sir, they’re not Brembos. I painted them. Not sure if they would clear them or not. Sorry man.

Appreciate the responses! They totaled it at $30k in repairs. I found the exact same car, and did my financing online/over the phone. In route to get the car the dealership calls and said they pulled it back to be washed and someone cut a truck to close and scraped across the driver side front corner. What are odds?

Ended up getting a 2020 GT PP1 401A with the A10 and Magneride for a good price. I really like the 3.55 rear much better than the 3.15.

If the adjuster wants to total it he probably could because there are so many open items. At first glance it needs l/r quarter and if it has one an inner quarter pnl. It needs at least a lot of hours on the rear body if not replacement. The entire l/r suspension is an open item the rear floor will need a lot of repair time at the least and the exhaust is an open item. When I used to be an adjuster I would have to get the acv of the car then write what damaged parts need replacing and then add up the open items to see just where it stands. I guess I would like to total the car based on open items it probably save the company and the insured a lot of heartache. Good luck and I hope you can afford a nice new Mustang

Is it totaled because lack of parts, or lack of body men/women that know how to work metal.
Today it seems most only know how to replace. And could not save a panel if they had a gun to their head.
Many of these threads, All I see is easy hit easy to fix repairbles. Than now go straight to the parting yard.
These totaling out easy fixed units is killing the cheaper units for kids to get into. Before carfax, that be fixed, and some kid would own it and think he hit the lottery.
