Lack of low end grunt. Punch it under 3500 rpm and you wait until the cams kick in. Traded in a C7 and still have not got used to nobody home down low. Lack of trans / diff coolers in the tech car. The 17 model solved the cooler situation and gave you a choice for the tech option. Still waiting for Fords response on adding the coolers.

I don't like that mine arrived just after I left, so I wont be able to drive it for months.

53. Completely unnecessary. That's more first gear that some, actually many, Corvettes.
I agree that it's not geared for 0-60 acceleration but more for the road course. I was responding to the OP saying that you can't hit red line without breaking the law. There are many roads that have a speed limit high enough to hit red line. Of course it's first gear only, but you can still hit the red line.

1) clutch is weird hard to place why just is
Just pull the assist spring out and try that configuration, it is a 30 second operation and you will find the clutch becomes linear and predictable. If you have any play in the pedal, then the Steeda spring will help with that, and that is the only reason to install one. If you don't have any play at the top, you don't need the spring.
Steeda claims their spring will reduce the chance of clutch chatter, that is total bull IMHO, either your clutch is fully engaged or it isn't, it is more of a comfort issue than anything else.
I removed my clutch spring 6,000 miles ago and I love the results without any assist spring.

In my years of driving, I've only seen one road with a traffic light was followed by a 50 mph speed limit. So, where else can you accelerate to 50 mph in 1st?

Ok you got me, but I'm already at 45 mph entering the ramp, so I'd have to be cruising awhile in first to do that. Or down shift as soon as I hit the ramp entrance.

I guess we won't make any road friends stopping at the top of it, hitting LC, and letting her rip.

I have a bit of play at the top with the Steeda spring. Am I alone?

You've never seen a tollbooth on an interstate?
