my current list of things done is. what i listed in my weight post plus passenger seat and ill be at a 1/4 tank of fuel. I feel like thats pretty good.

Wow. The Aerospace Lightweight Street Kit is looking like it is going to save some serious weight!

Is this a 15" rotor? Same size calipers?

If only it wasn't cross-drilled, that'd be kinda cool. Never heard of that brand, though.

Not 15", these are lightweight drag brakes that are also good enough for street duty. These are not meant for track work like the Performance Package.

Correct. They are 13"

We do some extreme testing with our cars (we own many) and never had a single issue with cross drilled rotors.

This brake kit isn't meant for road course duty. It is a light weight kit designed for street use, and of course works great for a drag racer. I saved exactly 50lbs with this kit. That's a lot.

Oh, here is a shot on the car with the wheels, which also saved a bunch.

Ah, thanks for the info. Looks nice, but yeah, I don't want to sacrifice any brake fade resistance. I'm certainly more interested in track time than drag time.

corner weighting scales show my non-PP, non-Premium, stock cloth seat V8 GT to weight 3593. Fuel down to almost zero, 3 miles to E, and trunk junk removed. Mats still in.

My Magnaflow Comp catback was around 51lbs. Did you weigh the connectors/bolts/nuts ? I think I had 48 lbs without them.

Sent an email to aerospace on availability for the street kit. Will post once I hear back.

This will be the weight savings total for all mods listed. Broken up between weight differences and free weight + 1/4 tank gas at the end. BMR feel free to just add this to the OP some where.

Differences

Deka ETX18 Battery - 13.64
Racing Driver Seat ~ 30
Cat-back ~30
Front/Rear wheels with DR's - 12.7 rear, 20.8 front X2 = 25.4 rear, 41.6 front. Total = 67
Aerospace 13" Street brakes - 55.6
Drive Shaft Alum/CF - 19-22
Half Shaft - +18.2

This Total = 137.04 - 140.04 This total and Free weight total are a little off because i forgot to put the Cat-back and Race Seat in as Differences, but i still put it in as Free weight. so the grand total is still the same.
+
Total for Free Weight = 173.83

Total for these = 313.87
+
1/4 Tank Gas = 72.075

Grand Total = 382.945 - 385.945 Depending on drive shaft.

That puts your - 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack 300A - MT82 Transmission
Curb Weight (scaled at BMR) - 3736lbs

Final Total = 3354.945 - Without Driver.

My Total Would Be - 3534.

Strange thread. It didn't answer any of my weight questions. The fundamental question I have is how much weight does the whole Performance Package add, in the eB? In the GT?

Strange that someone that didn't read the entire thread didn't get the information he wanted out of it. :)

OP posted his PP GT weight at 3736, I posted my non-PP GT at 3593.

But, unless someone has one car with each of the hundreds of different ways one would option one of these cars, and/or how much fuel they have in when weighed, and weighed them all, there will be a bit of a difference.

Scott Walker needs to add those $$$ back to the education budget... J.K. Mine's not premium either, and that will probably be a variance too.

So would you conclude that a eBoost w/pp would weigh nearly 143 lbs more than a V6, all else being equal?

(Because you can't get the 3.55 axle ratio on the eBoost without the PP like you can on the V6).
