I've just put on the scale my 2015 GT PP, 3.658 lbs on the port oficial truck scale with three quarters gas tank... with the following mods:

HRE 20' lightweight wheels, stock 19' PP wheels are pretty heavy.
Baer front and rear brake disks, here there was a (expensive) weight saving.
aftermarket catback exhaust.
rear seats delete, a few pounds off...
race front buckets, the PP stock ones are heavy like stones.

Still a pretty heavy baby...

Curious what seats you have in the front and did you use a kit for the rear seat delete?

Any intent of going to a 15" wheel in the back now htat you have those brakes?

Yes, I used a kit for the rear seats delete.

I've been looking into 15' wheels but I needed to change those at the front to match but brakes would not fit and I couldn't find anything I really liked...

Hi guys,

Anyone have the weight of the 2018 PP2 spec'd for lightest oem weight vs fully optioned out? Only number I have seen was 3705lbs from the recent Ford event. I know I am overthinking what options to get based on weight but hey why not know before I buy.

Thanks!

My contribution, Lol. Sometimes shift knob weight comes up to change the shifting characteristics. OEM knob and MGW Classic with the trim set screw piece. I didn't include the plastic reverse lockout collar that is cut from the factory boot.

The thing about reducing weight is its a cumulative thing and you have spend some real $$ to get there. My problem is I’m attached to my full weight maxed out premium gt. I like it the way it is. Its a 10 second car the weights about 4000lbs. I could probably drop like 400 lbs if I really went at it but i guess i dont want a 9 second dd car that’s stripped. I like all the creature comforts as much as i like its power it makes..

Signed “lost cause” ...lol
