It is satisfying in the way that mastering and executing any skill is. It is satisfying in that it is a skill that leads to a higher level of car control. It is satisfying in that it contributes to one more level of driving a car and having it do exactly what you want it to. Can you be satisfied driving a Mustang without it? Sure. But if you can develop skills that make you all the better of a performance driver, wouldn't you? If that makes sense to you, great. If you don't get that and all you think of are F&F references, well, that's on you...
Well said!

Mastering the art of double clutching and heel toe begins from home.

Watch Gary Sheehan performing double-clutch and heel-toe. Yes, he does double-clutch when heel-toeing (in this video).

For downshifting, this has just become 2nd nature. I do it all the time in every manual car and don't even think about it. Until seeing this thread, I forgot that there are people who don't do it. lol

I almost never do it on an upshift though. I don't really see a need for it and never did on previous cars either.

Now that I have a Mustang (V6), one interesting thing I have noticed is that my 4-3-2 down shifts are smoother than my 1-2-3 up shifts, which I think is b/c I always double clutch when down shifting. Makes me wonder if I should be doing double clutch when shifting up.

Double clutching was for non synchro trans like in Semi's. 2nd note wears clutch out faster too especially damper springs/plate

Gary Sheehan doesn't in the video you posted. Not necessary on up shifts.
Sure, agree.

The reason why I mentioned double clutch is b/c mustangs have noticeable rev hang that affects upshifts (esp. 1-2-3). Double clutch might be a cure.

I never notice any issue shifting even if there is "rev hang".
