They could always do something to catch everyone off guard and revamp something like the Mach III nameplate that was used for a few (3) concept cars in 1992.

I always loved this render! It would be fairly easy to pull this look off on a vanilla GT, too:
-Dark grey hood extractors
-Dark grey wing mirror caps
-Dark grey lower intake divider, leaving the frontal surface body color (could be done with plastidip)
-Wedge some kind of light units up in that plastic void outside of the grille fangs
-Modified front bumper with intake slot

I agree with you about this render of the Mach 1, like everything about it. I would wait for a 1 or 2 more years if they came out close to this Mach 1. Love it!! Can someone change the color to white. I had an 03 Mach 1, miss it[emoji25]
