C7? Yes.
C7 Z51? Yes
Z06? Can't wait to find out.
C7 yes
C7 Z51 - Yes on pure specs but in reality the driver could/would make the difference.
Z06 with Z7 option pack should take it...but heat soak could be an issue if the race is long enough

Ok as awesome as I believe this car is there is no way it will compete with the Z06 on the race track (heatsoak aside). The C6 Z06 did the NBurRing in 7:22...that is crazy fast. Let's not make this car into something it isn't. Even with a Z51 I have my doubts. The Corvette has a weight advantage. They are close HP/LB but transient response, braking, etc. is impacted greatly by weight. Stock C7 I think it would be close.

With all I said above I sure hope I am proved wrong!!!! :)

ADM reaches into the small towns even. A town of less than 6K, joined the GT350 program and finally committed on their allocation, 10K over MSRP. An owner reaching out for the last penny. A little surprised but not terribly since I heard of some crazy ADM amounts and some large metro areas just charging MSRP. Just thought I would share.

+1. The GT350 is a great car for the money but that doesn't mean it will beat everything out there. The C7 Z51 can put up lap times similar with the C6Z which performs great on the track already.

My impression is that the C7 Z51 and Z28 are similar in speed (or would be, with similar tires).

Therefore, I expect the GT350 to also be similar to the C7 Z51. Maybe a little faster, maybe a little slower, but overall pretty close.

It will definitely be slower than a Z06 (either C6Z or C7Z).

I think it will hold up better on the track on hot days than the C7Z (which seems to run very hot - oil and coolant temps) and better than the C7 Z51 (which seems to have sub-optimal brakes and issues with the AFM valves).

I hope it will be as well balanced as the C7 Z51, which is awesome to drive on track.

Looks like Darth Vader's GT350. I can wait. I've have been around the block too many times to jump before I'm ready. Last time I talked to this dealer they wanted 20K over so it's headed in the right direction. Also test drove a 2014 GT500 which was 58K.
