The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

The initial run the of the GT350 will be limited but the number I have heard is 5000 per year over a 5 year production run or 25,000. That is similar to the number of E90 M3's (all bodies) that BMW made. A car I would argue has a much larger buyer base. I bet the ADM will go away faster then people think. I just don't think the depth is there in the market. There are way too many good cars in the price range...

Heck, you can get a stripped down Z06 for a little over $80k which will smoke a GT350 all day every day.

You guys (not just the OP) keep posting incorrect data--ya gotta including shipping/destination and Gas Guzzler tax as they ARE part of the MSRP aka $49,995.

You are partially correct. MSRP does include destination charge but not taxes like gas guzzler. I should have been reflected that.

Agree. As much as I would love to have a GT350/R, no way would I take it over a Stingray/Z06.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm moving from a C5 Z06 and a C6 to the GT350, and you're right - a GT350 with a fat ADM becomes less of a performance value when compared to other cars of similar capabilities. But at MSRP, I think the GT350 is the clear winner.

And on the heat soak thing, you only get that if the engine doesn't throw a rod first, hehe.
