My only experience is with my old '66 GT Fastback and my now long gone '95 GT convertible. If you think it's leaps and bounds over last years model, imagine how I feel!

IMO this speaks volumes to the S550 because I thought the previous model was excellent. i had a lot of seat time in a V6 and loved it. I did think it was a tad sloppy when pushed, but at the time it was a V6 'vert, both heavier and softer than a coupe. Having a droptop with RWD and 300hp was priceless. Driving a '14 coupe with the track pack was a night and day improvement in dynamics, and I almost picked up a loaded black one instead of putting an order for the S550. Good thing I didnt :)

thehunterooo shoutout to your whip, the 'vert I drove around for a week was that color and EVERYONE who saw it loved it. One of my buddies still talks about that color till this day. And it was in FL too haha
:cheers::cheers::cheers:

I might do the review, a super detailed one, breaking down every little difference. I have been thinking about doing one for a while but never got around to it.

I had a 2011 GT P and a 2000 GT P before that. This Ruby Red 2015 GT Premium is way better than those 2 and I REALLY liked the Kona Blue '11.

I had a Kona Blue 2012 GT and loved it, although in certain lights it looked purple and I wasn't crazy about that. Mine was not a Brembo car, so I was excited to get the PP this time around.

I agree with all of the previous posts about how much better the S550 is generally; handling and interior specifically. The new car is just a much more complete package, and I think it's a better looking car too.

We shouldn't sell the S197 Coyote's too short though; even with the SRA handicap, it managed similar handling numbers, and my butt dyno still says the 2012 coyote was slightly faster in a straight line. Don't forget when the 5.0 returned in 2011, it was very highly rated and generally agreed to be the best stock mustang GT up to that point.

I LOVED my 2011 V6. Lots of pep, and a very pretty car. It was also very obviously a Mustang, so I got a lot of compliments and spontaneous conversations with passers-by.

I regretted selling my 2011, so went looking for another Mustang. 2011 and 2012 cars are still very expensive used, so I thought -- why not look at the 2015? The differences aren't that striking in photographs (looks like they finished the restyling they started in the 2013 and 2014 with dropping the side of the hood.) But once I saw the 2015 in person ... wow. It's a whole different car. The lower, wider stance, and the very nice finish, made me immediately think of MUCH more expensive sports cars. Once I opened the door and looked inside, I was blown away.

I can't wait to receive my 2015.

Our last one was a 2008 V6 and it was an incredible car. My wife wanted a new Fusion in 2011....so we traded for a 2012 Fusion.....man I hated that day.

As much as I loved that '08, my '15 GT is even better. My first car back in 1975 was a '68 Stang. Then I bought a new Cobra II in '78.....have had several others since then.

My '15 reminds me so much of my '67 hi-po Pony equipped version I had back in the early 80s. Of course, that had turn signals in the hood. I guess I should have waited a few months and would have had that again!

I looked into a wrap but it's too much money for what it is and ultimately not permanent. I'd rather have it be GB from the factory. Esp if i plan on holding onto the car long-term.
