Surprised no one has mentioned this.

Track mode turns off traction control (or puts it in a different setting) my traction control off light pops on when I move to track mode.

In drag mode traction control lights off lights do not turn on.
You’re correct, track mode reduces corrections but doesn’t eliminate them. It displays the light anyway. This is in the traction control/stability control section of the manual.
Drag Mode has no light, I believe leaving it up to the driver to decide if they want it on/off. I might abuse mine more to determine which gives better launches on “street” tires.

You are of course correct, which has always caused me to wonder “why”? Is TC really off or not?
It alters it, but doesn’t turn it off completely. See the owner’s manual in the TC/ESC sections. There’s even a handy table.

If you toggle the tcs switch after going into track mode, it says traction control off even though the tcs off light is already on , and this and puts you in an even lower traction control setting. This is the mode I have to always use after going whippled.

Why would having traction control being lower be better for a whippled car? Wouldn't you want more traction?

400+ foot rolling burnouts from 50 to 95 mph of course.... also you dont want TCS to kick in ever really.
