I got my test drive scheduled for September 20th at a 'rival' dealership who wouldn't budge from MSRP. Hopefully I'll show up driving my 2015 and let them see what a lost sale looks like.

When the OP and others get test drives, no doubts it will stoke the fire again. Actually, I am anticipating hearing more information and seeing more photos in about 5 weeks month from now, when the Woodward Dream Cruise and Mustang Alley is held.

I'll be begging any Ford person I see to let me drive - hahaha

You're right. The next several weeks we will get a lot more news and information coming in. I totally agree that the ebb and flow is good for the anxiousness. Also, as soon as I get my VIN I'll be excited all over again!

Do it, that dealer deserves to be shown what a sale looks like. Hopefully the buyers who go in there dont all pay MSRP :/

Actually, good point. I didn't get a specific model told to me...though I said I was interested in the GT so that better be what I'm test driving! Lol

got mine for October 4th . I called regarding for tracking and they told me dont worry i should have my car before my birthday which is October 14th.

I'm now sure that I will have my car before this Sept 25th test drive. I don't see Ford holding onto vehicles from July until Sept 25th especially since OK to buy is 9/9/2015. My build date is 7.28.14 I got it this morning.

Requested brochure and setup test drive Sep 25th in Austin, TX.

The test car better not be a V6. Fine with Ecoboost or GT to get an overall feel for the driving experience.
