Since contacting Ford right after lunch today for the brochure and test drive sign up, I have gotten 3 phones calls from that dealership. This is insane!!!!!!!!!

Any one else experience this since signing up for this stuff?

Yep - Got a call about 10 minutes later. Then towards the end of the conversation she said she'd call me when they got a car to set up a test drive date.....I was like huh??? I already set that up, I thought that's what we've been talking about? Not sure Ford and their dealerships are communicating well :/

I guess I got lucky...just one call from the dealership confirming time and date and he said he would contact me closer to date when they start getting cars.

I got two calls, one from the dealer who said he got my info from an internet inquiry (which is odd, because I did it over the phone not via the internet). I informed that I already visited them once and left my info with a salesman so he said he would get with that guy to make sure he had everything. They seemed confused about the test drive that was scheduled...I bet they don't all know about it yet!

Got a second call from a 1-855 number that seemed to be a Ford QC type call to make sure the dealer was taking care of me....was kind of odd but not a big deal.

It's actually exactly the same thing as when i submitted an internet request for a quote on my car. Got called by the dealer, then got called by Ford QC, then got called by the dealer again.

Sounds more like they're submitting requests on your behalf to the dealer they're scheduling your test drive with and the dealer doesn't actually know about it, since they just seem to be following up on an internet lead. Pretty interesting.

I'm just going to wait for mine to come in though. I'm not THAT obsessed, at least not yet.

Was told from local dealer test drives should be available around mid august? Anyone hear sooner dates ? And what location ?:ford:

I actually got my brochure this week, pretty simple and no rebate coupon or anything in it. Matches my dealer guide well.
