This is making me not want to consider Bama. The only thing that is very attractive is the free tunes for life, but maybe it might not be worth it if people are having these type of problems.
Livernois and Lund also offer the free tune revisions for life. Also for FI just pay another fee.

When you have to give out free tunes for life / other gimmicks such as that, you should know they're not that good.
Not a gimmick and all the main players do it. It is so as your mods change you can get an updated tune to take those mods into account.

Don't be. They are fine. They also have a lot of employees so its never a long wait to get help if you need it.

LOL See below because Lund and Livernois do the samething. Are they not that good? Bwhahah

I didn't want to pay the extra $100 that Lund wanted for an E85 tune, plus the normal price of the tune. Not worth it for a bolt on car. I got my tunes from Bama in 4 days after submitting for e85.

Big ups to Bama. I ordered headers, and submitted my new tunes request last night. I just received them. Just over 12 hours. That's service.

That is surprising to me. You're lucky! I've always got mine 7-8 days later. Once it took them 2 weeks. I'm switching over to LUND and hopefully it will be different. Just ordered the nGauge a few days ago with a custom tune.

I got my last one in 4 days. I see you've got LT's with the gibson. My headers are in the mail.

Waiting to get them in from beefcake now...ordered last week during the sale...I am on the fence. Don't want to speed 600 for the install but don't want to spend 8hrs on my back under jack stands! I may just do it myself and spend the money on a splitter or save up for airlift....

I got mine last week from them too. I'll be doing it myself. Not gonna pay someone $600 for something I can do myself.

I have to say that Bama support has been on a steady decline. Response time, updates and quality of tune is currently terrible.

I had one of the first S550s and bought the JLT CAI and Bama tunes within a month.
The base 93-O race tune was terrific.
Then I asked for a 94-O race tune (since that's all I put in). Performance declined and I went back to 93-O race.
Got a cat-back and asked for new tune. Performance decline.
Went full turbo-back. Another decline.

It seems that every tune I've received since the first has been worse than the base 93-O.
After a couple attempts to have someone work with me on this and no response I've given up. Even reached out to Lund but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

To end on a positive, Alex from AM has been terrific but he can only do so much.

I have to say BAMA and American Muscle have been nothing but prompt and fast with my tunes and parts I have ordered from them. I have the lifetime tunes and had them modify my tune and had it quickly and it was spot on!. I also have tunes from another Vendor on here that has been a terrible experience. I highly recommend Bama Tunes to anyone that asks about my car!
