It was never lost. The USPS system took Monday off….. LOL
Amazons delivery speed and tracking has spoiled all of us.
According to the usps representative and tracking history it was lost. It didn’t get sent out like it was supposed to from the distribution center. Take a look at the tracking info. It clearly shows it stuck at the distribution center and a wrong notice of it moving and it was really still at the distribution center. Only after I submitted the request did the package get sent out.

Stupid phone won’t let me upload a screenshot but here is the tracking info copied:

Tuning device received. In the process of writing the first base tune using the pmas data and roush injector data. Will see how the fuel trims are behaving then update the imrc.

After that Ill probably try to see how far off the lund cam timing is when normal driving vs stock and make the updates.

Then ill do some more aggressive driving and check fuel trims.

If everything is good ill probably post some logs for you guys to check out to make sure I'm not missing anything big.

Then ill up the rpm limiter, and update the cam timing for wot. The hopefully dial in spark.

It sounds so easy but I'm sure ill run into problems every step of the way. Ill keep everyone updated on every step.

Flashed the first tune and car started right up and seems to idle good.

Question: how should I go about updating the maf data to get the car more dialed in? I know lots of tuners have people do rpm holds.

Right now all I changed was the maf period data I copied from PMAS and the injector data I copied from roush. I mostly just copied things that stood out and all the options that hptuners has as I assume those are the main things.

To dial in your MAF you want to look at LT + ST fuel trims.

Ya but I pulled up a roush file in hptuners to see what are the most important things to change for the injectors as pcmtech has so many and I don’t know what they all do.

Ya but which tables do I change to get them closer and what’s the best method of doing it

Did you try reading the Lund tune?
Haha @K4fxd just asked this. I’m eating rn but will try in a few minutes. I assume it’s going to fail because hptuners couldn’t read it but I’ll try

There's a few different ways to tune MAF. If you copied over information for your intake and trims are no more than + or - 5% then I wouldn't worry about tuning MAF.
Go on HPT and get familiar with the mapped points and how they work along with cam angles and distance tables. Once you understand all that it will make it easier to tune the coyote.

Ya I need to read up on mapped points. @K4fxd recommended the coyote cookbook to read about them

I bet pcmtec reads Lund fine. I’m not so sure it will display it though.

@tdstuart pcmtec has a super useful tool where you can pluck any stock file (plus some Roush, Whipple, and frpp) from their library and compare it to the current file. It will display all the differences. You can then click the checky box beside anything you want to copy into yours and hit apply. It will auto copy the table and axis, then it vanishes from the list of differences. You can also check an entire tree branch to copy over sections of the tune.

Yep that is what I was using. Only selected parameters that made sense to me and that I say in hptuners.
