Taos New Mexico 91 octane ?

I’m wanting to drive the mustang to Taos, but I’m yet to find 91 octane or better anywhere around there on line.
Anyone know if it’s available in Taos New Mexico ? The only thing I don’t like about living in the west is low octane fuels,
And they seem to love government subsidized E 85

I never thought of that. I have a trip planned for Monument Valley, Arches NP, Moab, Telluride, Ouray, Mesa Verde, and Santa Fe. I never gave 91 octane a second thought. I just might need a few gallons on that trip.

I’ve tried a couple apps to find it with no luck. Going to need a Chase vehicle I guess

I know it is hard to keep your foot out of this vehicle but I guess if it has to be done it has to be done. Having 4 knock sensors like the coyote does would be nice insurance in times like these. Maybe someone in those areas will chime in with a positive response. 93 octane??? What the hell is that???????????

I've seen 90 in Cimarron at a Phillips 66 a few years back, but it has been a while since I have been in the area. And that is not exactly close to Taos anyway.

Good to know thanks. The chance of my car ever seeing 93 octane is zero. It's just not available out here. I will still keep my foot out of it when 91 is not available.

Well I’m sure it will run on it 87 but not the E 85 it says in the owners manual not to use e85 I would use 87 as an emergency only. what’s the point in driving my car if I can’t use the loud pedal

Low performance on the 87 octane so I consider it not being able to drive the car like I want.
But I started this thread about 91 octane not being able to find it. it’s even hard to find in Pueblo Colorado.

Not opposed to Tuning it for ethanol just reluctant to do it under warranty. especially reading about these engine failures and replacements

I'm in CA where 91 reigns supreme, but I have a special station near me that has Sunoco SS100 (CA street legal 100-octane) to mix and get it up to wherever. Maybe you can find a place similar close by.
