Howdy Everyone,
I am the proud owner of a 2019 Mustang GT PP1 car, that I purchased in late June. I love this car so far, and coming form a 2016 EB Mustang, the sound and the power are incredible. However, I found myself wondering yesterday as I saw a hot-rod civic take-off from a stoplight way faster than I did, what is considered "normal" take-off behavior for Mustang enthusiasts. To put it another way, when I start from a stop light, I don't mash the throttle to the floor, I smoothly put my foot down, and don't typically take off very fast. My thoughts on this are based off not wanting to slam on the breaks if the idiots in front of me don't take off. However, as I mentioned above, I find myself overtaken by cars I know don't perform as well as mine most of the time. So, my question for you is, when you take-off, do you tend to mash the pedal to the floor, smoothly depress it, somewhere in-between? Thanks!

to you for not taking the bait. I am surrounded by commuter Honda Accords and dorks on their phones, so no one ever seems to care what kind of car I'm in - I have yet to have someone do any flexing around me. Since I'm a daily commuter, I drive like grandma 87% of the time anyway. I sure do enjoy putting it in loud mode on the way home, though.
