That’s correct! Beginning part of the movie is when they encounter the enemy and when the bird is flipped and here is the actual line shortly after in their first class at Top Gun

Here’s the foreign relations scene

Yep, tom cruise does have his nose align with one tooth.

Oh, so I shouldn't throw a handfull of chromoly steel 1/2" ball bearings out the window and behind me when this happens?
No, save those for people who pay by check at the grocery store.

My local grocery store doesn't accept checks anymore. They went fully 100% self checkout.

If someone is driving in a way you don't like in your vicinity (either tailgating you or doing ANYTHING else which is bugging you)...

Just change lanes and slow down. If you're in the left lane, move to the right, if you're in the right lane, move to the left.. If you're on a two lane road, take a turn! Coast through an off ramp and back into an on ramp.

There are 100 ways to get distance between you and some idiot on the road. Acting defensively means you take proactive steps to remove yourself from a situation. Assume they're clueless (they usually are). The other driver is obviously OK with that is going on, so its your issue to change something, not theirs.

If you're pig headed and insist on doing exactly what you're doing because you think they're the problem, that's wrong. It takes 2. You both can stop the situation and you both need to continue to sustain it.

Be the solution.
I’ll just say that it felt like it was a game for the BMW driver. I sped up, slowed down and even rolled down my window and pointed towards the other lane via my side mirror (since my windows are tinted) and he stayed parked on my rear bumper, even when stopped at a stoplight. So he knew what he was doing.

Could I have handled it better/ differently? Absolutely and what I did was dumb and solved nothing. Turn offs are somewhat limited on my route until I get close to my neighborhood, which is when I turned off (via a turn lane) and he finally changed lanes and sped off. Which again leads me to believe he knew exactly what he was doing. I have zero patience for people like that, especially when my wife and/or kids are in the car with me. Guess I need to go find more patience somewhere

Crap, here I am asking about another acronym that somehow became popular that I have no clue about. So, what is a BAE?

The young folk use it as a term of endearment I suppose. Like “babe” or “baby”. Because those extra couple of letters are really hard to speak 🤣

Typical BMW owners!!

We are all guilty of engaging when we shouldn't. I have noticed as I get older I let them go more often. If I have people in the car especially I try not to engage at all.

I do try to do that as well, especially now that my kids are older and are more observant (my son especially since he’ll start driver’s ed this coming summer). I just had a couple of off moments for whatever reason and didn’t brush it off like I should have

So I don’t know if it’s my eye or what, but the new M2’s have a widebody look up front but the rear looks skinnier than the front to me. It’s got to be an optical illusion but it looks bad IMO.

The other day a Mercedes SUV flew by me and cut me off by inches!! Then was stuck in front of me, I did not fully engage but I kept my horn on him for a good 2 minutes until he brake checked me and squeezed between cars and left.
