I'm looking into purchasing the SYNC 3 system soon for my 2017 Mustang V6 with 4in screen. The one I'm looking into getting is coming from a 2020 Mustang GT Premium. Will the bezel fit properly in my 17'?

I just installed sync 3.4 on my 2020 base GT and noticed the climate controls are super funky now. For instance if i have the climate control set to 62 degrees it blows out warm air, but if i set it all the way to LO it then kicks over to cold.

Anyone else have these issues? Is this something i need to change in FORSCAN?

Every find a solution to this?

Should have called me first. Your kit would actually work AND you’d have paid a lot less.
As the only Sync 3 specialist with Ford and Roush employees we have access to information that our competitors never will and the modules we sell are not only genuine 2019+ (without hacked software) but they are flashed with Ford EOL software, not FORscan. The same software and calibration files used at FRAP.
I can no longer give out confidential or proprietary Ford information such as configuration data aka “As-built” info and the spreadsheets being circulated are not the actual information from the Ford Part to Spec documents.

Can you clarify what this means for your customers? I’m still waiting for a final quote and to place my order for a Sync 3 kit for my convertible. Do the modules come from you preprogrammed to simply plug in and go? If not, are you now including full programming instructions to set it up in the car using FORSCAN, or are we on our own to figure it out?

Modules that are purchased from me are flashed with Ford software, not FORScan. Because of some of the things I've learned from working at Ford I am to provide a much more robust product.
Once you finish the physical part of the install I remote in and finish the set up for you.

Hi Brian, I recently just did my install (2015 V6 as well) and the APIM you receive is pre-programmed and ready to go. Everything, as far as the infotainment system, will work fine out of the box. The changes that need to be made to the car's programming are (I think) to activate the different drive modes, etc. You need Forscan on your laptop and the OBD link for your car; Hextall will remote into your laptop and make the necessary changes via Forscan, then you will be all set. Hope that helps put your mind at ease.

Anyone know how why after a sync swap, audio from a phone call is non existent? Also, whenever I play music, it’ll play for a few seconds and then it just pauses and if I click play, it just restarts.

It will be fixed once your remote configuration is completed. That's part of what you purchased.
