I downloaded the Sync 3.4 update. The colors of the screen changed to a more blue coloration and I do not care for it. Can that be changed?

On the center screen there is a display button under general settings.
Gives you 4 background colors to choose from.

You can also use forscan to change to one of the gray Lincoln themes.
You can test them out via the test screen: (Irrc) hold eject and next track for 5-10 seconds, a sound test will start (you can skip it) then you can go through the menus to see the other available themes. Don’t use the ones with “10g” (or something similar) in the name as those are for the new 10” vertical screens and will make your infotainment unusable until you reboot the system.

Unfortunately there are no other options currently. People have complained about this since MY16'. Ford has not seen fit to allow us to use our own screens like we could on Sync2.

They should at least allow us to match the MyColor selections or at least offer a gray solution or something. It was better color selections in 3.3

This is your only option if you don't like the blue:

Lincoln MY20 theme. Can be set as your default with Forscan.

Can the Lincoln theme be set on older versions of Sync with Forscan? Is it still grey?

I guess better gray than kona blue in a red car with black interior, silver stitching and red lighting.

Most cars have the silver chrome trim too. Why would they put kona blue on the screen and not make it editable. really a bonehead maneuver Ford.

I know, editing will be a feature on the S650!

Which Forscan do I get?

You mean Forscan codes?

This changes your theme to the Lincoln grey/black and maintains the Pony start-up animation.
7D0-01-02 8xxx xxxx xxxx
7D0-03-01 xxxx x2xx xxxx

After your APIM restarts you can go to display settings and chose NIGHT mode. Go look at the background colors and pick your favorite shade of darkness. During the day NIGHT mode is automatically brighter. Night mode brightness can only be adjusted when the headlights are on.

You're going to like this way better with a red car.

Should’ve gotten the red interior so you feel like Superman with the blue theme

As StangTime said, there's only ONE Lincoln theme available in FORScan (MY20)... but all of the available ones on the testing screen looked the same to me.

I'd say with ANY color. Ha ha.

By the way, I found the solution to finally get rid of ALL the crappy blue: Changed the start-up animation to the Ford Performance one (which does NOT include any model designations, so perfect, since the Bullitt has many FP parts), which is black, gray, and red (the one on the new GT500, I think). And there's no more Ford blue shut-down animation anymore either. Actually, there's no shut-down animation at all, which is perfectly fine with me. If one of you want to also get rid of all the blue, here's the code: APIM 7D0-02-01 xxxx 10xx xxxx. And might as well add the calm screen (7D0-02-03 xCxx xx), and heated/cooled seats on home and climate screens, if not already done (7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x6xx). Hope this helps gang.
