I'd like to point out that I spoke to the service manager at the dealership and some things were cleared up regarding confusion about what needed to be done. The damage is going to be corrected, and I appreciate the work and attention the service manager has given to the matter.
I'd also like to say that my concern about the banging noise is not a reflection on the service department at the dealership, since they took the time to troubleshoot the problem. The result of their efforts was that higher-ups at Ford told them it was the tires and that there's nothing for them to do/fix. I don't think I was clear about that.
I actually really enjoy my dealership. It's just been a frustrating couple of weeks.

No. These are possible culprits with this noise after reading the multiple threads. I have torqued the daylights out of my end links cause someone said them being loose is what causes the problem I am having. Now I am going to check the front subframe bolts as well.
Last to check is the strut. I will just buy some front Konis to do that.

Verified all front subframe bolts are torqued correctly.

That leaves the strut. Let me know if it's confirmed that the strut is the problem. Cant believe the strut will go busted so early. Mine broke at around 4k miles too and so have my friends' struts as early as 3k miles. All of us having stock suspensions and living in tropical Manila.

Found the cause of the noise
Type of noise: Low speed knock / creak which disappears at 20 mph or faster
Location: Front left strut area
Solution: Changed the strut mount with a 2016 PP strut mount on that front left side only and the noise is completely gone
Upon visual inspection, the old strut mount didn't have any signs of being broken. But right after the new one was installed on my GT non PP car, the noise disappeared and stayed quiet. It's been 4 months and about 2k miles and still quiet.

'15 GT with front-end crunch/pop
I'm coming up on the 3yr warranty mark in a month and hope I can get this one taken care of. Anyone with some laser focus comments to take to the dealer would be fantastic.
2015 GT Premium coupe without the performance pack, but everything else, manual transmission. 20k miles, original Pirelli's. Purchased new in April '15.
In cold weather (below 40) backing up in the driveway and turning either left or right, but especially a hard right turn deliver an enormous front-end crunch/pop as the vehicle rolls. It is not a metallic grinding. It then smooths out quickly with a few turns as I pull out of the driveway and out of my neighborhood.
It only happens in winter (DC-metro area) and it only happens in the morning, regardless of the enduring cold the rest of the day parked at work. The ideas on shocks and any other gas charged or rubber gasket elements make great sense. The killer is the repeated trip to the dealer where they "...can't replicate the condition that the Customer reports..." even when you drop it the night before. I do not remember this issue the first winter, but the last two have been the problem.
Does anyone have a dealer experience that worked or a short list of what to push on to get them to act? My dealer is actually very good, but if they don't have a map to follow for something they haven't seen before, I'm stuck.
Any help as the clock ticks down on warranty will really be appreciated. Not one other issue with this toy - Love it

Yup. I was getting ready to change my strut mount and just swapped out to AirLift. Problem solved.

It’s the tires if you still have the factory “summer only” Pirellis. There’s quite a few other threads with folks having the same issue - usually and exactly as you stated, only when cold, when first pulling out or backing up and having the wheel turned in a certain direction.
