Hey all,

I don't know if it's been there forever, but I noticed a slight (and I mean slight) sound from the front area, when going about 5 mph, over say, a pavement imperfection.

I never feel it over a speed bump, or at speed at all. Anybody else notice something like that? Is is calipers, pads? This is a GT, non track pack. I've had it lowered (Eibach 1"), and everything seems tight.

Thanks!!

I have a GT Vert. Had a similar noise in mine after lowering w/the Steeda Street springs. 1" drop also, but it looked lower than that. It was mostly on the pass. side, but sometimes on the driver side also. I could always make it happen running over Botts dots marking lane lines. The shop could not figure out why or what it was. I finally couldn't stand it anymore and had my stock springs put back on. Noise GONE! The springs had to have been collapsed on themselves or something, it was them for sure.

Now, I have a set of springs I can't use and I'm still trying to get Steeda to give me some sort of refund. They said they would work on the vert, but they didn't.

Yes! Thanks, that sounds similar although on mine it doesn't happen on dots ... it's so weird, just a certain type of imperfection in the pavement lol.

So I assume it's just the springs, somehow. I saw a video, and when comparing stock vs aftermarket, the stocks are sooo much longer ... All that play probably hides alot, for a reason I suppose. Plus they're married to the stock shocks ... I'm sure 2k coilovers would rock but not gonna do that today ;)

That's so weird. I have Steeda Springs and lowered 1" all around and haven't heard anything unusual other than once or twice right after the installation. Any video of this maybe? Not sure if it'd be hard to hear through a mic or something, but really curious.

It's so faint, its more of the feel than a noise, so think it'd be almost impossible to record it.

I'm really not picking for sure, since most people would never be able to tell ... Then again, gear heads aren't most people ha-ha!!
