Suspension noise in front

I can tell you after replacing the springs the noise is pretty much gone. The only noise i get up front now is the tires when it is really cold. But today being around 20F this morning i cut the wheel all the way and heard nothing like i usually did.

I have a similar issue and a GTPP. However I think and feel like it is the tires based on the feedback through the wheel.

The car is generally parked for the winter; though tomorrow it is going in for oil change and 10K service. I'll bring it up. This weekend is supposed to be somewhat nice. So maybe I'll have pry my roommate from bed record the noise, and have him analyse the frequency.

He is dealing with morning brake noises at work so he may be able to provide some insight.

I get the same noise when backing out of my driveway in the morning. I'm convinced it's the tires. I just upgraded my sway bars 2 weeks ago. While i was in there I double checked everything was tightened down and it was. I'm also on cj springs.

I have FR springs and the noise still occurs with them installed.

my dealer told me they will change for suspension struts .. i told them i have new coilovers just change to that set , they said nO! they wanna fix hahahah

My car is currently in the shop because of a loud banging/popping sound that quite literally shakes the whole car when it happens. It happens nearly every time I get in the car after it's been sitting a while, but is more pronounced the colder it is and the longer it's sat. I thought it might be the summer tires at first, but I've owned previous cars with similar tires and I've NEVER heard them make a sound like this. It's a bit more muted in the video than when you're sitting in the car, but...I have a hard time believing this is just simply from cold tires (ignore my commentary in the last video...was having a bad day, heh):

God only knows what it is. It's time to run it back and have it fixed under warranty.

I was told that the summer tires are the cause of the sound after they called Ford and were told that that's the ONLY thing it could be. The dealer swapped out the tires for a set of all-seasons and (supposedly) left the car to sit outside overnight with them on. I went there early in the morning and did the test drive myself and could not replicate the sound.

I still have a hard time believing that the rubber is the cause of that banging sound. I fully understand and expect the tires to hop and skip when it's cold out, but I've owned vehicles in the past with summer tires that never made that kind of sound due to "losing grip." It's a loud, mechanical bang...not a rubbery slip.

At this point I have no recourse since we couldn't replicate the sound while I was there, despite what can be seen in the videos. However, now I have another issue in that the dealer damaged BOTH front wheels and tires while swapping my tires back on AND took a nice gouge out of the rear bumper.

The dealership has offered to fix the damage, but part of me doesn't even want to take it back. The damage they did tells me that the service techs just don't care and have an utter lack of respect for their customer's vehicles. Literally, all they had to do was swap a tire...how in the hell do you take chunks out of wheels, tires, AND a bumper in what should be a 10 minute job?
