Suede Seat Inserts

I am thinking of ordering a 2022 California Special but am unsure about the Miko Suede Seats. Can anyone tell me about them.
Do they wear as well as leather?
Will they stain?
Are they comfortable?

Had them in my '19 Better cooling in the summer, heating in the winter. No issues keeping them clean. Directions are in the OM. Follow them.

I considered suede inserts on custom leather, but remembered how much tiny dog hairs like to stick to it. Got tired of constantly vacuuming the cloth, now all I have to do is one quick wipe across the leather, and it's gone. If you have pets, consider the possible implication.

Miko is a brand name, same as Alcantara. They are essentially the same material. As @cactus_kid said they are excellent. And really good looking.

I have them in my 21 gt/cs and really dig them. Been using the heat lately and it works well. No complaints on fit or cushioning as they feel nice. As far as cleaning/maintaining them....i need to look into that also.

I love them in my GT350. So much more comfortable than the leather from my 18 GT.

I have Alcantara in the GT350 also. Really like the material, more that I thought I would. It looks and wears great. The Sonax pictured above is an awesome product which works fantastic. Anyone with Alcantara/Miko swede seats or steering wheel NEEDS this stuff. Makes it look brand new.

After 50K miles in my 2016 they are still holding up great. I clean the drivers seat twice a year with the Sonax and they come back looking brand new.

My car isn't a California Special, but it has the Carbon Sport interior option which I believe is the same alcantara inserts but with white stitching. The car only has 15K miles so I can't speak for the durability, but I prefer alcantara to leather or base cloth. Both in feel and appearance.

If it doesn't last, I'll just do Katzkins like some of the guys here because every one I've seen looks better than any factory option anyway.

The one thing I miss from my Scat Pack were those alcantara seats. Loved them. The leather in the GT just isn't as comfortable.

Yes! The seats are amazing ! They wear better for sure. Easy to clean and maintain. If you,ve sat on a leather seat in the summer with shorty shorts on you know how uncomfortable that hot leather is.
