I will guarantee you the "parents" response will be like "Oh its just a car and they are kids..." :tsk::rant:

Sad thing is I have seen people my age (20) act the same damn way with their car and this was when they were sober.... Some people view cars as just a way to get from point A to B and don't understand you just don't do something like that.

Im not gonna go yelling at women then get slapped or something and not be able to do something back...I keep my cool and think about the family. Ill keep you guys posted on what the land lord tells me after he speaks with the parents.

I read your post and saw the pictures, then I realized by the time I was done I was tense and my breathing felt tight. The rage was coming and it's not even my car lol.

I don't know what I would do, I think I would lose my shit for sure. I probably would've majorly f'ed up the parents car late at night or something. I commend you on keeping your cool and trying to do things the right way.

there is a crease on my roof on the edges were the roof would warp in from the weight.
im sure that's some kind of vandalism...
I don't recall reading that you got the cops involved. I would have had them come and write a report for vandalism. Good court evidence.

So what's their excuse for not watching what the hell their brats are doing. Too busy drinking and watching soap operas?

Man sorry to hear this. Similar thing happened to me about 20 years ago. Stay at home mom not watching her kid. It rained outside so my Camaro had rain water beaded up on the car. Kid had a rock in his hand and rubbed it all around the car. Guess he liked the beaded up water on the car. End result was scratches up and down the car. Mom was suprised by what little johnny did.

There are manny places around the country where allowing a four year old and a seven year old to play outside without adult supervision is considered child abuse. I would be surprised if California isn't one of them.

How things have changed! When I was a kid, we all used to actually do that and nobody cared, in fact they liked it! In the 70's it was just different, people saw cars more as function.
Hmmm...I was a 70s kid and can't think of a single person in my father's circle of hot rodders and gearheads who would 'like' this behavior in the least. :headbonk:

Sounds like the OP should make a call to the local child protective agency.
