Hi All, so I'm thinking about changing my stripes (I kill myself...). I'm a bit torn because what I have now comes as a factory option from Roush, which is the Super Snake type in all matte black over Magnetic Metallic. But I've been looking at what I guess I'd call the accent striping on the sides of the Shelby's which is bad ass, and I'm considering a change. I don't think I'd go with white, but I'm considering silver. About the only silver on my car are the lug nuts on the Paladin Gray wheels. Like the Super Snake, there is a small gap between the single main stripe and the two "accent" matte black stripes. So not sure whether to just replace with silver and leave the small gap as is, or whether to have it meet up with the black center stripe like the Shelby's do, albeit with a two stripe theme as opposed to one in their case.

I've rolled through the Garage photos and haven't really seen a Magnetic with what I'm considering. If anyone has done this, please share. If it was just a regular Mustang GT PP1, I wouldn't hesitate go just pull it all off and go with a Shelby type two stripe w accents. Probably in Blue w silver (go Lions...). But because it's a Roush, I am sort of tempted to leave well enough alone with the way it came from the factory and not step too far outside of what makes it a Roush as opposed to trying to mix Roush w Shelby. I know there is a lot here, but wanted to throw it to you fine folks and get some thoughts, especially from fellow Roushers... Thanks in advance!

It's now your car...make it your "individual" if that is what you would like to do.

My impulse would be to remove the existing stripes and let the design's underlying beauty shine through for a few months. If I still needed some kind of distinctive markings, I'd look at simple, barely contrasting pinstripes.

I hear you, and thanks for the input. Something about V-8 Mustangs, stripes and peas and carrots though lol... Thinking I may pull the outer black stripes and replace with a low gloss silver. Only question is to keep the gap or ditch it.
