Went orange to be a little different than the standard red, but now regretting it a bit and thinking I should have gone red or just full black. Thoughts?

I think orange is awesome. My football team plays in tangerine (orange) and so I always pit a little extra tangerine on all my cars. I put a pinstripe alongside my Black stripes from the factory and even managed to get some tangerine on the 5.0 too.

The future's bright, the future's orange!

I like the uniqueness. Just add more orange else to really tie in the concept.

Thank you. It’s not that it looks bad, it’s just that thought that it doesn’t look as good as red or black would. I’ve got the 5.0 dot orange and valves stem covers in orange and plan to do the calipers to match. Just struggling with whether I made the right choice, wasn’t cheap lol. Thanks for comment

I like the orange as well, something different. I’ve seen yellow pinstripes on gray/silver cars too and that looks really good as well. Your car color is a good canvas, just about any accent color will go with it

I like it. But I’m also a Denver Broncos fan, lol. Red would look great, as well. You know yourself better than anyone. If you’re not happy with it, change it before you do the calipers, etc.

If it was costly, then definitely give it time to marinate. Orange is rarely used, red and black is used all the time. Get other parts painted and check it out again. You can probably make the orange strip smaller too if it's too much for you.

Thank you! Definitely different. Debating on keeping or going red or just all black. I do think the orange is cool, but I keep thinking all black would fit the best. The car is gray and black everywhere else.

I always like a pop of color but that’s just me. I did the red pinstripes alongside black stripes on my prior 2016 car. Car color was Triple Yellow, so a bit of a different canvas to start with.

I’ve been debating stripes on my current 2022 car, but so far I’ve just stuck to black accents on Grabber Blue Metallic.

Thanks, appreciate it. I went with the narrower GT350 style stripes. Thought they suited the car well.

Opinions vary:

I've played this game with red pins. It works on some colors and not others. Red pins look sharp on black, but horrible on Wimbledon White and Brittany Blue. I'm not feeling the dual orange on yours, but the one orange on Spiderhouse's car kind of works in the "less is more" way. He's also got that one big euro rally stripe to offset it.

IMO, your car would work best with red or silver pins. Here is an example of red pins working and not....

These IMO look Mickey Mouse on WW & BB

Then these against flat black vs the blue look pretty good. YMMV
