I had aftermarket wheels with tpms sensors, and the car did autolearn the new sensors, HOWEVER, it was not correct on the position. I noticed this because the display kept showing low air in drivers front tire, and after numerous attempts at manually checking pressure, and adding air, I realized that the low tire was one of the rear ones. This was with over 2,000 miles on the tires.

this time around i bought the training tool, and was able to go into tpms learn mode and set each corner to match the display. this will also come in handy when I rotate my tires, as I went with a squared setup.

It all depends on the sensors, for instance Cloak the new system I am using ensures proper reading, the old system had a few glitches which is normal for aftermarket sensor sometimes.

Everyone that has done this I need time advice.

I just picked up some wheels and tires from a local guy. I put them on last night and today driving into work after about 15 miles the TPMS light came out and the pressures all went --. Took it to my dealer on the way home. They looked and the sensors are all showing up with their tool and are 315MHz, however they couldn't get them to train. I tried doing it myself when I got home by letting air out while in learn mode but it didn't work either.

The wheels are SVE drifts previously off a 2013 GT. Any pointers?

If they were on a 2013 Mustang and working, they are not the correct sensors, though most of the 2010-2014 sensors will at least give pressures, just in the wrong locations. FYI, the earlier years were also 315mhz, they just aren't 100% compatible.

What's weird about that is the service manager went out and checked a new car on the lot and it showed up the same. What frequency should they be if it's not 315?

ALSO, if you want to trigger a super quick Learning Procedure, Push the Power button once (do not start), then flip/toggle the Hazard/Warning Flasher switch 3-times up/down, and BAM, start the procedure.
Is this all you hafta do? Or let air out too? Mine did not learn in 25 miles
