Have a new set of wheels/tires with 3rd party TPMS. They are the metal stem ones from Need for Speed and like a dim wit, I neglected to note the model and frequency they are. Which sync tool do I need? I see many references to ones on ebay and Amazon but no model numbers or usable links. I know I can go to Discount Tire and they will sync them up for me but I'll be swapping these wheels/tires on a fairly regular basis so, I just want to have the tool handy when I swap wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Once you confirm that you have the correct frequency TPMS then your car will recognize them automatically. Though Ford makes a sync tool, one is not required. Before I understood this I made the mistake of buying the sync tool and have never taken it out of the packaging. I’ve replaced wheels on my car twice though I used oem TPMS and the car sees them without issue.

As it turned out, they dis indeed sync up on their own today. Had the car out for a few hours and not a single code or warning.
