Stock air intake route?

Following the intake snorkel, it feeds into the front upper grill? Looks like the grill is blocked (honeycomb is not opened up there)? Just was a quick look, but where does the stock intake terminate? Anyone with pics, shop manual, etc?

It goes to the engine obviously.
The other end is driver side grill.

Lol it starts on the right side of the grille where the holes are in the honeycomb and ends in the front of the engine..

Ignore all the rude geniuses that have a hard time with reading comprehension. You are correct,it does terminate in the upper grill as shown by BBB.If you look closely you'll see only a few holes are open for air intake.That seemed a minor restriction so I opened all of them up. It may or may not help but it made me feel better.

Can you take (or do you have already) a close up pic, that shows where the hole is right behind the grill? It seems that the actual opening is half behind the blocked off sections when stock.

Exactly what I was thinking Daytripper. I opened mine up this morning.

Air does not travel in a straight line. It follows the path of least resistance. So air entering any where in the grill will go into the airbox since it is all one big cavity behind the grill.
