That video was probably showing off the prototype of the system you have. If I recall back when it first got posted on youtube people asked about the price and specs. The price was $965 if I remember correctly.
Totally. The guy even says in a reply to someone,"This is only a Prototype Demo, a Beta test video for people's reference.. Also, the before Photo was from Internet to show the general idea that which model could fit. We will release the final version which will fit on the car perfectly.. This is an OEM Project, we are developing this system for a Mustang Importer... If you don't like it, just click away.."

Definitely seems like what we bought. That is, the finished product. Hopefully.

I thought this as well.
In the video the climate controls don't work, so perhaps they got them to work or it will just be a display.
He also never messes with Sync. However, IF this is that system, its basically an Advent system so I'm confident it will work well. I'm also very confident that the software can be changed if any issues.

Good luck installing today. I'll be checking for updates about every five minutes

Still working...

Everything is mostly smooth up until the point where you install the plastic black cover on the back of your whole assembly--it will not fit. I believe I discovered why the word 'claw' kept coming up in the google image translations: you have to do some trimming on the black plastic cover for it to close around the whole unit. You cannot really tell on first glance from their instructions, of course. Fortunately, this is literally an all-plastic piece, so if you ever wanted to go back to stock, it should be fairly cheap if you wanted it to be completely undone. Also, you must trim a tiny bit off the OK/back/forward button cluster for it to fit in the new frame (it gets blocked by the bottom edge of the screen otherwise.) Finally, you must trim the rubber backing for the buttons for the same cluster, as the rubber is shared with the six vertical buttons beneath the stock screen.

Also, make sure you have a T15 torx bit handy for removal of the black plastic panel and the circuit board.

The exact same modifications were required for the MFT install in my vehicle.

Of course. I'd be happier gnawing away at the plastic for an actual OEM solution, less happy about it for this. ;)

So I just worked at it with a side cutter. The plastic is relatively thin and easy to grab, twist, and pull at. Then work down the edges to get rid of any sharp points and you should be safe. Not the absolute prettiest results, but now I can finally get to the fun part, hooking it all back up.

Great info so far.
I've very jealous your doing your unit first.

Can't wait for the fun part!

Thanks for posting.

All done. I took a video. I'll be uploading it later (need to splice it together.)

Sync works 100%--the SYNC menu is used literally to play content from your car's regular USB ports. No fahrenheit/MPH, 24-hour time only in the regular interface (the GPS thing has its own settings, and its time is off--this may be fixed by NOT setting a system time zone away from the default.) Also the SD card being literally buried in the system is a drawback, as you could use it to store and play back media. Back-up camera works--oh wow is it nice having a large screen for this.

All in all, I'm pretty content with this system, but I'm hoping that we can see some updates for it, somehow, to take care of the minor region issues. And I'm hoping when that time comes that it can be updated through the AUX USB port.

I think I might try sending an e-mail to that Sintegrate video maker to see if anything like that is in the works. Would be very nice to know if they're going to provide on-going support for the system or not.

Awesome!
Will definitely check the video out when up.
I received some pictures of this unit from the seller with English interface before I ordered it and I swear I saw 12hr time and F temp readings. It was in a Taobao chat so didn't save the images. It's not a huge deal, but there should be a way to fix this. I'll get someone to look at mine and if find the answer let you know.

Thanks for the post.

When the ignition is off and you're in accessory mode, the temperature display seems to display a weird number (since normally you would not have ANY temperature displayed.) It showed 87 degrees when I cut the ignition before I opened the door. You might have seen something similar. Also I need to play with the time setting a bit more--when switching the time zone, it kicked over from 16:something to 4:something. But then adjusting the time manually still let me cycle through 0-23.

Have you tried receiving a text message to make sure it reads it off? Does pressing the speak sync button work? Bluetooth audio etc. If so, I'll definitely be doing this for interim solution

You can get an extension cable for the USB and just run it into the glove box.
Does the USB and line in from the center console still work?
I have someone to get firmware and software. Says should be easy (for him) install on sd with files and install. If not, then something with pin connection direct to the processor. We were must radom talking about it.

Great detailed video def gives hope of getting the MFT swap also to control AC controls. Question under GPS I saw a Unit Conversion, i wonder if you might be able to change something there to solve your 24hr or C to F issue or if literally it is just for unit conversions which is a little odd on a vehicle lol.....

Great video man!!!! Thank you for taking the time to do it for the community.
