I'm having a weird issue on my 2018 GT, the steering wheel doesn't self center after i make a complete turn either to the left or right (i. e. utilizing the whole 100% of turning radius available and making a U turn). The steering kind of locks up at full turn radius and i have to manually interrupt and turn it back to center it. This doesn't happen if i don't turn the steering all the way, let's say i make a turn utilitizing only 80% of the turning radius like a left or right 90 degree turn, the steering works as normal and self centers.
I'm noticing this behavior since a few days after i got the Steeda front control arm (lateral link+ tension links) and bumpsteer kit installed last week. I have OE PP wheels with 25mm spacers at the front for about 2 months but didn't notice this behavior previously. Any ideas on what might cause this? I initially thought this might be because of a bad alignment but I got a performance alignment done today at Steeda and i still have the issue.
Any input will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
