Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a 2020 Mustang GT. I swapped out the steering wheel for a carbon fiber/leather steering wheel with a racing stripe. I swapped all the OEM hardware of the stock steering wheel and transfered it onto the new steering wheel. Everything worked like normal after my test drive with the new wheel on and then the car was parked for two days.. Yesterday I put on my GT500 front bumper conversion and when I went to drive it to the car wash none of the buttons on the steering wheel work? They light up but when you press them they never do anything??? The stock steering wheel was heated and the new one is not? I swapped all the hardware back onto the stock steering wheel to see if that would fix things because the heated steering wheel would be connected again but nothing... I am thinking of bringing it in to Ford since I've only had the car for three works but if I can fix it myself and not take time off work I'd love to have that option.

Does anyone possibly have any insight on what could be wrong?

Thank you in advance!!

I have tried the battery and my cluster control fuse 13. Examining the pins going into the connectors? This may make sense as it could be the big grey connector needing a cable pushed in all the way.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will give this a try :)

I have also read that these cars have bad software issues so maybe that could have something to do with it because the everything was fine after the new wheel went on.
